Random quote: I remember losing the ball on the wing, once during a game at the (old) den I started chasing the fella but gave up after hearing all the coins pinging off the fence in front of the halfwayline :Steve Lovell

Delayed 40 minutes because the driver lost the water tank cap

Probably no chance of stopping at a Service Station for grub. Hopefully will get to the ground in time for kick-off (unlike the Wolves game).

Hope this is not an omen for the game.

Should've clumped the driver and hijacked the coach.

I've only been on a club coach twice.

The second and last time was to Bristol City about 1999 time.

We got caught in so much traffic on the M4 that the driver diverted onto A4, but the delays were so long he had to pull over in Chippenham for a forced rest break.

We sat in a pub having missed the game & simply waiting to get back on the road home.

To top it off the driver got lost going back through London. I thought one bloke was going to chin him.

So missing out on some disgusting service station food is no big deal Purely.

We did eventually stop at the 1st Service Station in Wales to pick-up our Police Escort. Time for a comfort break and to grab a Greggs sausage roll and Belgium Bun.

The Police escort was great fun. Outriders clearing the roads, stopping traffic at roundabouts and taking us through several red traffic lights.

Returning to the coaches, I've been to Wolves, Preston, Bristol City and Cardiff and on just one occasion have we stopped to schedule and at Wolves arrived after kick-off.

I'm planning to go to Sunderland on the coach and wondering what Kingsferry will serve up next time.

Well, that explains the humour of your match report....

Could you not claim compo Percy ? It applies to trains and other
forms of transport, why not coaches ?
