Litmus test for Harris?

We can all agree that our club legend has done a great job in the sorting out the mess that that charlatan Holloway left us in & turning us into a solid looking Championship outfit - for the first time since Kenny Jackett back in c.2012.

But, we can also all agree that the one thing missing this season so far is an away win. There have been some very good away performances, including great attacking displays early on. But these seem to have made way for more cautious, just don't get beat performances.

Surely we should be going for a win at Hillsborough though! Wednesday may have a glorious past, but crikey, we are talking about when Britain still had an Empire and a wireless radio was the latest technology. These days they are just another Championship level club, that sometimes gets relegated to League One. They're not even the best team in Sheffield anymore - the most underachieving football city in western Europe.

The ground will be half empty and very quiet. The players nervous, as they seem under a bit of pressure due to a poor start. No doubt their fans will be saying 'Millwall are the sort of side we should be beating bla bla'. But I think it is Harris who should be saying to our players this is the type of fixture you should be winning. We are aggressive, organised, direct and tough tackling. This lot are soft, the stadium is a venue of ghosts and they won't fancy a battle. Go for their jugular.

I'd be very disappointed if we treated this game as a 'don't get beat'. Play like we do at home and did away at Forest and we should batter powder-puff nonsense like Sheffield Wednesday.

QPR fan on talkSPORT earlier, said he didn’t rate wolves at all today. Said it’s the same with a lot of the bigger clubs who were expected to do well. Went on to say that the best team they’d played all season was Millwall. Said we played some really good football and was well drilled and organised. Really rated us. Said we should have beat them despite plying half the game with ten men.

Remember when they all but relegated us when Craig was celebrating his 'goal' whilst they went up the other end and scored? That was Wednesday wasnt it?

Hearts and Hibs have both won major trophies in the last decade.

The last time a Sheffield club did was 1991.

And Shefield has the greater population, both city and metropolitan.

Thought about going - then saw it's £30 to watch second tier football from behind a goal on a Tuesday night, whilst having to drive c.5 hours in all. I'll pass.

Bit much on top of a trip to Cardiff too. 1,005 went yesterday btw - pretty decent given members only, all ticket restrictions as per!

Looks like most have chosen the trip to Sunderland instead, with 1,000 sold already for that. May do the same.

So it time to give Elliott a start, instead of Morrison (more likely?) or Gregory, and then play Morrison/Gregory against Burton. Maybe Fred instead of AOB as well.

No, hang on, give AOB a start, instead of Fred, then - oh bollocks, I'm getting confused now .......

It's time like these, I realise I know fuck-all about football.
