Apparently a two horse race now ( Where have I heard that before) but I have played the two Allardyce 3-1 and Dyche 6-4..........sit back and see Lee Clarke get it

Walter, I prefer Allardyce gets it for my pocket sake BUT originally I wanted Dyche to land it because if he fails to get the toffee's role he will end up at the Olympic Stadium and he's too good a manager for my liking to go there.

Sean Dyche is alright.

I think we all agree, that he put in a decent shift when here as a player?

Are they not one of only two teams (Arsenal being the other) never to have played outside the top tier in English football

I think to be more accurate....they have never been relegated from the top flight in their history; which is not quite the same thing.

I think to be even more accurate that simply isn't true and they have both been relegated.

Arsenal were relegated from the top flight in 1912/13.

Everton were relegated from the top flight in 1929/30 and again in 1950/51.

The only side NEVER to have been relegated from the top flight is Bournemouth.

Oh well, that's another myth exploded then.
