Random quote: Hannibal Lecter: Now then, tell me. What did Miggs say to you? Multiple Miggs in the next cell. He hissed at you. What did he say? Clarice Starling: He said, "I can smell your c**t." Hannibal Lecter: I see. I myself cannot. You use Evian skin cream, and sometimes you wear L'Air du Temps, but not today.

Genuine football club, Purely. And without them and their actions in 1901 Millwall FC might not exist.

Happy for them.

Please explain whisky. I realise spurs won the fa cup in 1901 whilst a member of the southern league - did that benefit us?

Yes, mate.

Millwall were being evicted from their ground and the Lions were done for....just a year after we had reached our first FA Cup semi-final.

At the last minute a meeting was called to see if Millwall could be saved. Not only did Millwall supporters turn up but so did Spurs showing off the FA Cup they had just won as a fellow Southern League club.

The Tottenham players and officials implored the Millwall supporters and officials to fight on...using the FA Cup as a totem.

They created such a fervour that the Millwall guys basically said; "fuck, it...let's go for it...!" Somehow found a new ground and made it just about fit for football for the next season and by 1902/03 we were back playing in an FA Cup semi-final.

Had not Spurs intervened with their rallying call and the newly acquired FA Cup, there probably would be no Millwall FC today.

Have to admit that last night I realised that Man City are actually an exciting team to watch, it's attack attack attack, and flowing football. Hate admitting it but they are a very entertaining side, their neighbours meanwhile are atrociously boring. Pep is quality without doubt.
Anyway back to Millwall now COYL

Earlier in the season they were complaining about the Wembley pitch being too big. Well they could have made the pitch smaller.

Graeme Souness used to make the Glasgow Rangers pitch over 10 yards narrower for some European games. Not that it did them much good.

Please please please never make this news public Whisky, if Spurs fans I know found out I would never hear the fkin end of it!

Plus, my statement that "Millwall made Kane the player he is today" would be superseded by "if it wasn't for us, you wouldn't even be here"

In fact, ADMIN can you remove the thread and stick it somewhere else - just in case!

Yes, Champs, understand your point entirely. But you can still hold your head high...

Had it not been for Millwall setting up the Southern League and fighting for it to become a parallel football universe to the Football League, then there is no guarantee Spurs would have developed into the club they became either...

I'd call it a 1-1 draw....

Yes, they'll revert to type by the end of January.

We should never had sold them Harry Kane.
