Since the four divisions were introduced in 1958 we have played more than half of the seasons since then in tier 2 - the current Championship.

Stats mean nothing now, cannot compare championship with old div2, we are simply not good enough... burton ffs... would love to hear the excuses.... ref sending off... blah blah... getting boring now. No passion no fight

burton were utter shit and the ref has contrived to allow them to win

craig was embarrassing but we know his level - this will test Harris as our forwards have no confidence -

Ok I'm used to us getting the shit end of the stick with refs but that was fucking ridiculous. Something has to be done about it. Absolutely fucking ridiculous.

You mean complain to the FA - who openly hate us after Wembley?

I can put up with the bias we have to endure week in and week out but that refereeing decision was simply pathetic.

Yes we were poor throughout but there is absolutely no doubt that the result was determined to a great extent by that riduculous sending off.

Millwall generate more match day income than the likes of Preston, Barnsley, Burnley and Huddersfield.

Two of those are solid Championship clubs and the other two are now in the PL.

Stop giving the board the easy way out by moping about us being little old Millwall. It's not true.

And why cant you compare the old Div2 with the Championship? In the 1970s Manchester United, Spurs, Chelsea, Aston Villa, Wolves, Newcastle, Sunderland and Sheffield Wednesday all played in the second tier. It was just as competitive as now.

Maybe.

But after running on the pitch and the aggro the season before I think they are quite openly anti Millwall now and know the other clubs are 100% behind that stance. The FA also know the press with not kick off about it either.

"Millwall generate more match day income than the likes of Preston, Barnsley, Burnley and Huddersfield. "

Then why can we not compete with them?

I agree that the Championship is a lot more competitive now, and we simply cannot compete. Dont want to give the board any excuse but we've been treated like cunts ever since I started watching us since 71/72.

Poor scouting.

Poor youth development.

Poor manager appointments.

Obrien gregory eliot div one strikers
Morison past his best
Harris lack of experience
No player with tehnical abylitie to take one on one

We added little to a very good div 1 club

I said Fred should play & give Wallace a rest. Looks like Fred will play now.

Surely Elliot will start now. Morison & Gregory have scored once between them in open play. Less than Elliot. Relying on a fairy tight defence & the midfielders scoring won't be enough.

Let's face it, we're in dire trouble.forwards who camt hit a cows arse with a banjo, derenders who have forgotten how to defend, too many reds to allow a settled team, the list goes on.turn it around quick somehow or a relegation fight looms.
I don't know the answer...I wish I did.

Craig did nothing wrong. The problem was we never looked like scoring. O'Brien did absolutely fuck all out wide and Elliott has to play for Morison or Gregory, it ain't rocket science.

Craig is not a Championship defender now. Arguably never was. Agree with the rest, Lionwolf. Agree with Moody even more.
