Gregory is pony. The amount of people that defend Moro & Gregs because they 'work hard' which is bollocks anyway are the same people that used to cunt of Marquis would be my guess. However that kid did show some bollocks, just never got a settled run in the team and when he did we were shit anyway. He has shown he can score in league 1 and 2. Wont be long before someone takes a punt on him in the championship.

How the memory fades, some forget quick, that (pony) Greggs & Moro got us promoted a few months back.

So did Tony Craig but he aint good enough for this level, come to think of it Thommo played most of our game sin midfield, aint had a look in. Gregory's stats aren't that impressive when you dig deeper, less goals from open play than a forward playing out of position on the left wing.

So yes, Gregs & Moro did well in L1, don't mean either are good enough for th estep up, we use Moro as a target man, something he clearly has never been and we have a better target man. Gregory misses so many chances its unreal. The fact they have two gaols between them this season tells you they simply aren't good enough, third of the season gone that's shit. We can keep giving players game time based on their past, not when players like Elliott have done well when called upon and still don't get a proper chance. Bad management in my opinion.

Gregory's most impressive league season was 2 seasons ago when he scored 18 league 1 goals. Last season he scored 17 league 1 goals, 8 were penalties. Both seasons playing in a top 6 league 1 side.

There was a chance he would make a step up & continue similar scoring in a similar way. But it isn't going to happen.

I think we'd have to pay someone to take the useless prick

I note Whisky never did reveal the conversation with his top international manager that he was meeting for lunch at GBK, where he was going to seek the former world cup and champions league winners professional opinion of his valuation on Gregory. One suspects his valuation was a lot closer to mine than Whiskeys

Philpot never played at this level. I just wonder what Marquis would have done with the number of chances we create for the powder puff Gregory

Morison does a lot of work down the flanks so why not play him out left with Elliot & Gregory up front playing him as an attacking midfield could work IMO

Just an idea

Ive actually heard it all now.

I see you want to be reasonable now, all I am saying is they are not pony as you put it,and can still do a job for us. Yes i agree we need more forwards and we need to change, but then we don't know what goes on behind the scenes,so maybe not bad management.

Yeah agree Thomo & Craig can do a job a this level,as we saw on Saturday.

Yeah, Pony was a bit harsh, but their scoring exploits are pony and when players aren't performing it gets a bit frustrating especially when others aren't getting a chance

Sorry to disappoint you, Bex.

With the launch of my latest book, been on a bit of a social swirl for last few days. During which I have met up, as arranged, with the manager and I'm afraid he doesn't take your view at all. Oh, and I said a Championship manager, not International.

His view of Gregory: "One of the best players Millwall have. I need another striker but I don't think Millwall would let him go; they'd be mad if they did.

"Works his socks off, never stops, but has to feed on scraps as the service to him could be a lot better."

I could go into more detail but I'll keep that private.

Yep, he definitely rates Gregory and regards him a Championship-quality striker. Of course that's just his opinion of him. Other managers might disagree and be more on your side.

For instance, the odd manager rates Malone a Premier defender. Though I must say anyone who does is very odd, indeed...

On your last point about Malone I had an interesting conversation with a Huddersfield Town supporter who was part of our group in China. I asked him his view and he said good going forward but can't defend for toffees. He also told me that his season ticket was £100. Apparently several seasons back their chairman, Dean Hoyle, said that anyone who stuck with them through thick and thin could have their ST for £100 if they ever they got to the premier league. He was reminded of his promise by a supporter and he stuck by his pledge. And, even if you paid the proper price for a ST it was only £299. A bargain?

I'm aware of what you said

As for his assessment I'm astonished. Millwall would let him go for £3m in my opinion, which for a 'quality' championship forward is cheap at half the price. You sure you hadn't plied him with some single malt? As for feeding on scraps? What nonsense, one of Gregory's biggest sins is the amount of one v ones he misses.
