They put up a good fight but it ended 0-0 so they are out. One very poor refereeing decision in the first leg cost them.
On the plus side Saville played ninety minutes, had a couple of shining moments and didn't get injured.

Saville done ok and was on the ball quite often, and hit a couple of good passes out to the wide men. He also had a chance in the second half but it didn't trouble the keeper.
The way Dowie spoke afterwards as after the first leg, I think he likes Saville.
He could become a regular for Northern Ireland.
He gave Millwall a mention a couple of times, think he has a good regard for us.
I remember before the play off semi against Scunny, he said he fancied Millwall against anyone over two legs, and by God he was right.

I have no problem with Dowie (despite his past), says it like it is, along with-

Merson
Ian Wright
Gary Neville

They must be gutted just heard they wrecked the toblerone display in the belfast tescos minutes after the final whistle.

Saville was one of the best footballers on the park. Composed and direct.

I might be a tad biast, but he was very good over 2 legs.

We have bright future.
