The BBC holds itself up as a bastion of impartiality. And first class broadcasting.

Well, some alleged journalist called Emma Barnett will have Lord Reith spinning in his grave like a Crossrail Tunnel Borer with an interview which borders on the grotesque. Yes, nothing like a bit of tough-questioning; but this was nothing like it. It was simply one talentless, self-interested woman using, actually abusing, the "impartial" umbrella of the BBC to harangue someone whose views she clearly abhorred.

This non-entity of a broadcaster should be sacked for bringing the BBC and Radio 5 Live into total disrepute. The way she starts off all friendly and jolly only to try and tease him into a false sense of fun before treating him like some kind of criminal for his political, religious and humanitarian views was not only amateurish but has left the vilest taste in the mouth.

Thankfully, Jacob Rees-Mogg, though quickly cottoning on and for a moment taken aback, remained above it, showing this pathetic little girl patience, grace and kindness that she did not for one moment deserve.

What follows below really has to be one of the lowest points of national BBC broadcasting....

Crikey - that reminded me of the anti-Trump media here (which is most of the media). Just keep shouting abuse like a spoilt 7 year old without actually asking any probing questions of Reece Mogs position. The big noticable difference is that RM quite comfortably dealt with the bilge coming out of her mouth in a way that any US politician could only dream of.

For the record I don't agree with RMs position on abortion; that said he has my absolute respect for openly providing his beliefs even when he is aware that such beliefs would be unlikely to advance his career. An honest politician? Who'd have thought it?

Putting aside health issues of the mother and baby, and rape, the vast majority of abortions are of healthy babies. Anyone considering an abortion should be shown an ultra scan of the baby first and told the full facts of what will happen if they proceed. Everyone and his pony has their rights protected these days apart from unborn babies. A sick murderous practice.

What's needed is better prevention from getting pregnant in the first place. There's too many people on the planet. Furthermore, if you want children or more than one, fucking pay for them yourself.

I know. Fucking terrifying...

Can you imagine being invited to a dinner party and finding both Barnett and the square-jawed and intellectually unrounded Kaite Welsh sitting directly opposite you....?

I think before even the starters arrived I'd be using the butter knife to commit harakiri...

Seriously, Monkey. Had you been Barnett's editor, what would you have said to her (had you been allowed) after that distasteful interview? Indeed, as it was pre-recorded would you have allowed it to go out?

It seems to me that all interviewers these days are after is a headline (scoop) and to make a name for themselves.
Gary Richardson on the sports programme on Sunday mornings is the worst of the lot.

Where did Emma Barnett come from?
Never heard of her until she turned up on the daily morning slot on 5 live.
Used to like 5 live butbitbis becoming very ultra PC and tedious.
