Stick him up front late in a game and see how he gets on! He's got as much about him as Fred, pace and knows where the goal is. That is what we are missing a finisher for the chances.

What and get moaned at and booed for playing out of position.

Any manager worth heir salt would recognise the best finisher at the club ala George Graham, Steve Shovell taken from right back to centre forward 30+ goals.

Sorry Neil Not that brave a manager.

Since when have gregs or morro had a great through ball fed to them like that? If either of them had picked that ball up they would have scored.

Not taking anything away from Romeo he made agreat run, but the actual finishing, any half decent footballer would have scored.

Agree he has good pace. Maybe try him at right midfield with wallace tucked inside him. Or play 3 at the back and 5 in midfield again,

Romeo's goal raises many questions about the way we play. How often do you see Gregory, or Morison, come short and lay the ball off or thread it through a defence? Not very often. I don't think it's his fault but more often than not he is turning and running forward in hope he can pick up a nod on. By coming short (very) and winning the tackle he actually pulled their defence out of position and, in the process, created the space for a pass to be played along the floor and through their defence for Mahlon to run onto and score. I can't remember that happening many times this season.

they have both missed better chances than that recently.
But talking of moving him upftont
Is foolish

And certainly more composed than AOB does on the wing.

Don't be silly. O'Briens a better forward then Romeo , just as Romeo is
a better full-back the O'Brien.

What everyone else said. A neat finish, but could he do it again when his bottle is twitching?

Great to see him enjoying it so much - he could be a very important player for us this season.

My tongue in cheek question was designed to provoke a little debate, and also offer a little dig to those who may have been wasteful in similar situations this year.

The most important thing is that he buried it and that goal changed the game.
In addition, it must have done wonders for his confidence, something we are not brimming with throughout the team.

I said Romeo looks better on the wing than AOB, not as a forward??
