Won't mean anything to younger MOers but will to my generation.

The years weren't very kind to her were they:

I find that rather below the belt and unchivalrous.

She was 75 when she died, over 50 years since that famous picture that made the Arne Jacobson chair an icon. Or was the star topless attraction at Percy Murray's club in Beak Street.

Keeler had a very tough life. Before and after she was famous. It wasn't just the years that weren't kind to her.

In her final years we do not know what mental anguish she later suffered or what drugs she had to take for illnesses.

The lady has just died and deserves a modicum of respect. Not an ungallant comment like that.

Are you sure the second picture is not her Mum? On her day back in the sixties she was a stunner and had been round so many times she was dizzy!

Even in the 70's she was top dollar.
I used to work in a club off Regent Street that she used to frequent. She was still turning heads of diplomats & folks from the dark side then.

Establishment plaything, handed around without a care. From the little I know suffered horrendous abuse as a child from her step father and others which would have contributed to her life choices (if indeed they really were). RIP Miss

Mate of mine was her 'Brief's' Runner when she and Mandy Rice-Davis appeared at the Old Bailey. He was besotted with her and several times stood right next to her with various papers she had to read. That picture was and still is a right turn on

The " he would say that wouldn't he?" comment at the trial has to have been one of the great putdowns

Well we all end up like that second photo at some point. As much as they roll out celebs that are 50 and in a photo look 35, it's only a matter of time before they wake up and everything has moved downwards and wrinkled. As we can see elsewhere, plastic surgery doesn't age well either. We can put your nose on your forehead and your tits on your arse" Why thank you...

Yeah, often misquoted over the years.
That 60's period became classic for urban myth.
"Well (giggle) he would, wouldn’t he?"
(often misquoted "Well he would say that, wouldn't he?").

Another one :
"I believe they are a popular beat combo, m'lud."

I should imagine that Whisky might have a few?
