QPR's truly pathetic turn out got me thinking, who are the worst fans in London?

We always sell-out our allocation for every London away and get good numbers at home too, even for the likes of Leyton Orient.

Yet when I think about our SE London neighbours they must be the worst - Charlton only get big gates at home when the tickets are a fiver or they are playing PL football. Also, only 700 odd came to see that famous win at The Den in 1995.

Plus, Palace used to only bring 900-1,200 before Coward's Way. And still struggle to fill the top tier, despite owning South London.

Yet, given how mouthy QPR are, it may be them. Less than Wolves brought on Boxing Day with no trains. Also, another 'firm' who decided to swerve Bermondsey & instead sing at tourist at London Bridge.

Or chose your own..

It’s Palace every time. Little boys calling themselves “Ultra’s” that need an escort to their own games.
They pick a team 50 miles away to be their local rivals & they’ve got the cheek to sing south London is ours! Just pathetic.
(P.s. Thornton Heath was in Surrey when I was a kid)

Palaces south london is there's is now a major part of their branding and marketing format. So smug, especially considering they are technically the bigger out of the se London clubs. It's like us having a marketing project that sneers at Wimbledon or Dulwich hamlet. You'd think they'd show a bit of humility. Also when I a, doing the gardening I can hear their wanky south London is ours, south London is ours, fuck of millwal, south London is ours song from the holmesdale end

Palace fans always have been and always will be "wannabe's"!!

Wanna be "ard".... ffs

Wanna be "owners" of "sarf lundun"

Wanna "be like Bastardlona" The kit is as far as they will get with that.

But the truth of the fact is that ALL of their fans are just "Full kit wankers".

Synopsis: The only time they will "own" South London" is when there is a league of embarrassing cnuts and they will win by a landslide - FACT

But WE can be smug in the fact that there is no such place called "Crystal Palace".... It's "Upper Norwood" but they are too narcissistic to even notice.

Actually, John, there is.

Crystal Palace Park on Sydenham Hill is where the original Crystal Palace stood before it was destroyed by fire just before the 2nd World War. I think the area around it is called Crystal Palace as well.

Tony Macedo? Jimmy Hill? George Cohen? Bedford Jezzard? Bobby Robson? Aren't they still turning out in white and black and fighting off relegation each week?

Actually Whisky, the original Crystal Palace was in Hyde Park I think.
It was then Moved to South London and as there is no way of knowing
if the whole of it was transferred, or bits and pieces, we're call it
second-hand tat.
