yes well that's how good we are - play off place is a pointless remark

It is not a pointless remark. It is a fact, and therefore has a point.

I'm not saying that we are ever going to make the play offs this season. What I was saying was that we were equidistant from the two poles. Now we have moved at lightning speed towards one of them.

In future do you want match reports which don't mention shots which hit the bar, because they didn't count....?

Whiskey, nothing personal about the 'pointless playoff' remarks - just saying too many people are carried away by how good they think we are - we have achieved great stuff at home; to have so many wins at this stage is a real feat ; however even within those wins we have not shown the quality of play when managing leads that means we are a mid table team - we squander possession with a frequency that no good teams do and as such without new players or a change in tactics we will be in the bottom 6 as i have said since the star of the season -

we need 13/14 wins to stay up - are they all going to come to come at home? There is a feeling that an away win is bound to come , but why should it?

We dropped deeper and deeper today as we have many times - Harris does not think tiredness is an excuse going by his comments , so why did we play so negatively and frankly without purpose for a lot of the second half - it really wasn't clear what we were trying to achieve other than hang on. In the first half the full backs got forward and we had some situations around the box - it was decent football. I think tiredness did play a part but a manager must be able to spot this and at least try something different. Dragging Gregory off as per usual and replacing him with aob was not the answer. Morison does not have the mobility to pin a defence down on his own. These things seem patently obvious. If there were any thoughts that the transfer window would be quiet perhaps this has changed them and so it might be an advantage in the longer term

Liontime, I agree with your every sentiment.

There is a reason we are struggling to score away from home and it is because we are far too cautious.

Also, starting Fred in an away game.... I do wonder if his presence had a detrimental effect on the other players' mindsets.

I think NH has improved as a manager no end this season and love the way he has got the players working together as a unit. But, to me, having either Fred and/or AOB on the pitch away from home is a massive negative.

As I mentioned during the game, the only midfielder who appears to be on Gregory's wavelength is Wallace. And putting him on while Gregs was coming off must have been a right slap in the face for our striker.

I even said to the company present here when I saw the substitutions: "game over". I didn't see how we'd pull this out of the fire as even if he is not scoring goals, Gregory drags defenders all over the place creating space and chances for others. AOB has never done that in his life.

But I really can't get my head around this dropping deeper stuff. If a team is at your throat you take pressure off by keeping possession for a while. That's impossible to do if you are boxed into your own third and not willing to gain territory further up the pitch.

"Second half performance was a disgrace"
"I've let my players know in no uncertain terms that had better change, the transfer window is now open"
"I am fuming, I am raging with my players"

Some of the quotes Harris has been saying post-match. Make of that etc etc.........

Isn't it about time that Harris puts his hand up and accepts some of the blame?

Sometimes he forgets who picks the team sorts out the tactics if there is any and makes the substitutions.I wish he'd kept his rants in house and not for everyone to read

Rubbish performance where we barely strung three passes together. Looked even more shit after the subs. Highlight of the day was getting lost in leytonstone looking for a petrol station and then finding my way out again. No sat nav.

Had a brutal fry up in yhetford forest and almsost fell asleep on the m11.

Missed the goal as was having a piss.

4.50 for a bacon roll.mustard wankers.

That's very last for a bacon roll and mustard - ten to five. I'd get indigestion...

Morison was playing as if he is in his early 60s.

Saville was a headless chicken, but a chicken who was half are and maybe a bit stoned.

Thought romeo was motm.

Archer didn't look to blame for the goals.

Fred no worse than anyone else.

Not sure if Gregory even played. Didn't notice him.

4.50 for a bacon roll.

Gutted we just never turned up they was at us from the off but when Morison scored it was perfect time & i did think it would be our day but we just did not have it in us & i do think Neil is right to come out & say how slack some of our players was as it's the truth & they need to be told & those who never went deserve to know what we all see as the one thing that we don't need is them to think it's ok to not give their all i can handle us getting beat but not like that
