On the OS it says that he has returned from his loan spell with Yeovil and we have loaned him out until the end of the season to Chesterfield.
Mindful that NH has stated that he is looking for defensive cover and may well sign someone to be a back up CB does this spell the end of Sid's career with us?
The insane one, in one if his most insane moments, made him the captain but now we appear to no longer need his services even though we are short of cover at CB.

I am sure I share the same view as many on here that was hardly L1 material and he definitely is not up to Championship standard. Hence, we are farming him out, giving him the chance to play regular first team football, putting him in the shop window so that he might find his level and continue his career in professional football....with somebody else!

Or.....does he have a future with us?

I know NH told him not to worry about a new contract which means fuck all until pen is put to paper, Sid was getting rave reviews at Yeovil until he dared to get his broken nose fixed, The manager wanted us to pay the club Doctor thought otherwise, We have invested in Sid since he was eight years old so it would be bad business to let him go for nothing, Players who are being released at the end of the season usually know by now, What that crank did by making him captain was a disgrace.

Yeovil's manager who seems a bigger crank than Holloway wanted Sid to have it done at the end of the season Yeovil's club doctor disagreed the loon has spoke to neither of them since.

That's a sunk cost. All that matters from a financial view is what is he worth to us or any potential buyer. If he isn't worth keeping on hand even whilst TC is having to cover for three positions then his future here has got to be severely limited.

A very important loan for him. His time at Yeovil and Newport didn't exactly set the World alight, so as I see it between now and the end of the season he really needs to deliver otherwise it could be off to the Conference and probable obscurity.

Genuinely hope and want him to come good.

Harris obviously rated Sid as he gave him a 3 year contract -

'Millwall defender Sid Nelson and striker Aiden O'Brien have signed new contracts with the club following their relegation to League One.

Nelson has signed a three-year contract while O'Brien has agreed a two-year deal, with an option for a further 12 months at The Den.

Centre-back Nelson, 19, made his debut for the Lions in December and featured a total of 15 times last season.

O'Brien, 21, scored two goals in 20 appearances for Neil Harris's side.

"Sid and Aiden have made fantastic progress over the last 12 months and this is their reward," Millwall chief executive Andy Ambler told the club website.

"Neil believes that the club's current crop of youngsters can play a big part in both the short and long-term future.

"Retaining the services of these two talented players is an important step."

------------------

The trouble has always been more experienced players have been ahead of him. Webster, Beevers, Craig, Cooper & Hutchinson. So he gets sent on loan to struggling clubs.

Needs to sign permanently for a league 1 or 2 side in the summer & try to get a 100+ appearances under his belt over the next 3 seasons. Is still young & can improve.

Sid's enthusiasm and desire to do well for Millwall puts some of
our current crop to shame. Good luck to him where ever he winds up.

Yes, he's good lad. 100% 'Wall.

Who could ever forget his goal in the FA Cup game with Bradford, 2015 - just a pity it was at the wrong end.

But seriously, you will not find a more committed player for the Club.
