Remember when we apparently had no pre season freindlys due to ag in the mid 80's. Word got out we was playing Peterborough. Went up in a beer wagon caused carnage.all rotten the other people just said out of town so escorted a drunk driver to the motorway rather than us in town.

Brilliant days, little mobs going about there business, Bradford give it large got a spanking outside the barnarby, never seen Stan skinheads before, think they realized it wasn't their thing. On the return match took the piss in Leeds before we nullified the ointment. Joke club and county.

Never had it with ointment but know a few of their lads. They're good stuff and thought they was pretty well rated up there. Have given Leeds a few hidings over the years I know that.

Bradford away 80s, bw hired a train, you bought ur ticket off doctor death (Southend Dave) and he gave you a surgical scalpel, I said I dont need that , the stair was evil, the filth turned up as the boys were loading a van load of booze on the train, filth to bw were gettin on, by to filth you ain't got a ticket it's my fkn train, and I've got a 3 grand deposit and there will be no damage, not even a light bulb will get broke, they fkd off, I remember train stopped back of bellend rd, and 3or4 coachs of weeds we're giving it come on !! Doors opened and down we went, run the cnts. Getting back on the grain was fun as it was movin, on to Bradford all buzz in, at Bradford filth said not to go out the station as a massive mob was waiting, straight through the thin blue line and into um, seen asians in England shirts given it large, fkn mint batterd um , was fun all day

My favourite moments from visiting Leeds are...

1. The Wall fan on one of the special buses they put us on from the Walkabout pub - pacing up and down muttering to himself "I promised I wouldn't do anything stupid, I promised" as Leeds fans taunted us as we passed them. Before declaring "fuck it", forcing the doors open and jumping off and screaming "come on you cunts" as the Leeds fans scattered.

2. A huge Leeds fan bellowing "come on you cockney bastards", when a few of us got out before they locked the gates in 2004. Only for one, fairy normal looking Millwall fan to put him on his are with a perfect right hook.

3. The Australian barmaid in the Walkabout pub telling us that the Millwall fans were great. Far better than the whinging northerners or soft southerners they usually got in there. Millwall fans reminded her of the more manly men from home.

Dry trains Saturday going up & coming back it looks like. Don’t turn up with some beers cos the filth will confiscate & share ‘em out later at the station amongst themselves. Bastards. It’s not like there’s any proper police work to be done on a Saturday, not when there’s a few ‘Wall fans who want to have a couple of cans on the way to a match.

Top Tip.

Buy some small bottles of Coke.

Decant about a third from each bottle.

Top back up with Havana Club.

You'll be pissed before you reach Peterborough.

How about St Pancras to Derby.

Derby to Leeds.

Drink yourself into oblivion - but don't forget to change at Derby.

Leeds official website saying we've sold 1000. Thought we would have sold out to be honest being the first time in years with no restrictions. Still a few days to go I suppose. Would be good to have 1500 up there.

They're pretty good with the post, usually next day or so - but collecting up there is always an option

How would they know? They send the tickets to the away club to sell.

Anyways, it was 1,200 odd sold the other day.

And be fair, it's a very expensive away day just as the Christmas credit card bill drops through the letter box (I would imagine that this scheduling is deliberate) & besides, it's not as if it's a once in a blue moon away day anymore. Plus, we average 12,500 at home - 10% of that for an away day north of Birmingham is very good for any club. Last time I checked Sheffield Wednesday & United never bring 2,500 plus to The Den - and they actually have big London & SE supporters clubs.
