Random quote: Don't be deceived when our revolution has been finally stamped out and the EU pat you paternally on the shoulder and say that there's no inequality worth speaking of and no more reason for fighting, because if you believe them, they will be completely in charge in their marble homes and granite banks from which they rob the people of the EU under the pretense of bringing them culture... Watch out, for as soon as it pleases Merkel, she'll send you out to protect their gold in wars, who's weapons rapidly developed by servile scientists will become more and more deadly, until they can. With the flick of the finger, tear a million of you into pieces.

Name the ONE existing past or present London Football League club (i.e. found within the M25) we have NEVER played against either in the FA Cup or League Cup.

(N.B. Thames AFC and Wimbledon FC no longer exist).

We've never had the pleasure of beating Charlton Athletic in the FA Cup!

To be fair, probably because they always go out at the first opportunity!

Pretty sure we've not met them in the League Cup either! But not as sure as FA Cup.

You keep saying that, Moody. But they have won the bloody thing, more than we can boast, alas...

Robbie: We played Brentford in the League Cup in 66/67 drawing at their place and losing the replay down the Den 1-0. I remember it because 1) They were managed by Billy Gray fresh from leaving us cos we wouldn't pay two old buttons and a dead rat for a Fulham youngster called Rodney Marsh and 2) I was down with the flu and missed the game

Tooting & Mitcham ?

Tooting and Mitchum were in the Football League....?

Anyway, yes we have played them in the FA Cup. In 48/49, I think, in front of a Den crowd of over 20,000.

That's why their awful performances since)are funny though Whisky. Anyway, I don't think it really counts anyway - football was still getting back on its feet after the war

A real stab in the dark Royal Engineers. I know they had a lot of early success in the FA Cup and are still in existence, so I'm hoping that at some stage they played in the Football League.

I'm afraid they didn't. They were amateurs and the Football League has always been professional.
