What if no one from a "black, Asian and minority ethnic background" apply for a job or are not qualified?
Do we have to wait for them to finish collage/university before the job can be filled

Why is it only from them certain backgrounds, why not add a Scottish, Welsh, Irish, Australian, American, Mexican, you get the point

Ridiculous. If you meet the application criteria and/or are the best fit for the job it shouldn't matter what bloody colour you are. With this rule better qualified people my get rejected at paper sift stage simply in order to accomodate a black or an asian... If the black or asian was good enough they'd be there anyway. Total nonsense.

Because there are or have been plenty of Scottish,Welsh, Irish, at least one Yank, can't think of an Aussie or Mexican people in management jobs.

Having a rule that means you interview certain people from an ethnic background doesn't mean they will be appointed. If a bod isn't qualified or isn't suitable then they don't get the job, simple. Remember most posts being applied for are quite specific in the criteria, coaching badges and experience.

100% correct. It is abhorrent, and if operated the other way round would be illegal.
That's it really, in a nutshell.

But, it goes on all over the place.
For example size criteria for the fire brigade. Minimum height used to be 5'6". They decided that was discriminatory against women, so they did away with it.
WTF??
Who would you want to rescue you from a burning building? Some woman of 5'2" who cannot even lift the ladder to put it against the building?
Or a 6'2" hunk of muscle like me?

p.s. You don't need to answer that.

It is not just a petty thing either. When working in teams to put up a ladder, it is extremely important that the crew members are of similar stature.
Otherwise, there is real risk of injury, or simply dropping the ladder.
But, that doesn't matter, as long as they employ enough women and other minorities.

We are slowly being wiped out, by the oppsoite means by which Hitler tried to slaughter the jews.

Hitlers way was to put the jews in ghetto,s and then murder them, we are slowly being suffocated until we can no longer afford to live without jobs, food or housing.

While we all sit back and watch it take place, our forefathers must be turning in their graves, seeing the sacrifices they made, come to this.

Australia and now the USA are having none of it, Trump may be a lot of things, but like Farage, he can see whats coming and is trying to do something about it.

Our leaders are only interested in themselves, whilst burying their head in the sand.

Like you said most jobs will require for example a coaching badge, so if no person from a ethnic background is qualified to apply, and the new rule states that they must interview someone from an ethnic background, is the job going to be unfilled until they can find someone who is qualified to apply

To put it in more simple terms for my own sake, if only white people apply for a job, not one of them will get it as white people have only applied and the rule states they have to interview someone from an ethnic background
