As for talking to people in high positions! I spoke to the window cleaner last week, does that count?

This post has got potential. Could end up in MO Gold below the bunker story.

I would hazard a guess that the only scouts that whisky are talking to are under 11 and have just got a badge for washing up the dishes!

Actually, I got them to wash my car for 5p.

So mystery manager rates Gregs so highly, that he doesn't feel he could possibly put a bid in to tempt Millwall into parting with him

Might as well stop the transfer policy in football now!

Glad to see you understand football and how it works so well, Bex.

If your previous posts didn't confirm it (though they normally get pretty close), this one certainly does. Keep digging yourself a hole, mate....!

Bex certainly won the early rounds but whiskey has got a second wind.

3/1 bex on points
2/1 KO for whiskey

I'm clearly understanding the system better than you. By what you're alluding to, managers will only try and sign all the shit players form other clubs

Guess you're fortunate you tried your hand at a career in the whisky industry and not football reporting!

Maybe, I did not know he had written a Millwall book before I knew he's the author of the whisky bible. I'd also wager there's plenty more whisky fans in the world than Millwall fans!

Actually, mate, I was a football reporter: covered games from Kenilworth Road to the Neu Camp. And also had my own column and football tv programme.

Never mind, Bex, you'll get something right one day...not that I'm holding my breath...

Says a lot about the standard of reporters back in your day, thankfully they've improved. Maybe one day your attempts at a cutting jibe will improve/

To be honest, I don't give a fck what you think, you chat bollocks for a large percentage of the time anyway!

In your eyes, maybe! I've noticed you have trouble relating to opinion or fact unless it comes from your trap. I mean, trying to tell us all Gregory is so highly rated that your pal is to afraid to bid for him, sums you up for me.

It was no argument either, I disagreed with you, you tried your usual trick of trying to belittle people that disagree with you, maybe you should get of your high horse!

The manager didn't say he was afraid to bid for him. He said he didn't see any point.

But hey. What do I know? I was only actually there and had a one-on-one personal meeting and conversation with the bloke. You on the other hand...you were in Bexleyheath. So you win hands down.

If you don't believe me, I'll not be losing any sleep over it. Equally if your - or anybody's - opinion differs from mine, then great: that's the point of a forum. To debate.

But try not to insinuate people are liars when they are not. You'll tend to find they might find a way of having a chip back at you. And if you can't take it, then don't suggest they are liars in the first place.

HLS.... How can Bex do an uppercut when he's already been knocked out....?
