Random quote: "You just don't understand the readers, do you, eh? He's the bloke you see in the pub, a right old fascist, wants to send the w*gs back, buy his poxy council house, he's afraid of the unions, afraid of the Russians, hates the qu**rs and the weirdoes and drug dealers. He doesn't want to hear about that stuff (serious news)." Kelvin Mackenzie - former editor of The Sun

If that had been the only goal in a game against Spurs, or whoever , there would have been a massive protest, but the silence from the club about this foul only confirms to me that they are embarrassed by the whole affair and want to move on without explaining the team decision and inadequacies

besides if you watch Meredith after the foul , he accepts it - you can see he thinks about protesting and then thinks , oh well ! -- the mentality in that team yesterday was wrong

True whisky.but for all their possession and attempts on goal they'd still failed to score til then and anything could have happened.I myself believe we'd have held on for the 90 minutes and gone to extra time.If so I think we'd have then grasped the nettle and settled it.
We'll never know.
