I do like the 'we can see you sneaking out'chant.
Best usage was at the services on route to the cup final.
Absolutely packed with thousands of us when 2 manure lads wandered in,and swiftly decided they weren't as hungry as they thought.
The chorus as they made their exit was phenomenal.
I jokingly said to them as passed 'dont worry, they're not as bad as they sound'.

From the early 80's, to the tune of the Vikings.
The Lions, The Lions...der, der, der, der, der, der, der, der........war.

QPR away late 80's early 90's....loads of people were banging the metal wall at the back of the top tier, to the beat used in the film Zulu....then they would stop and after a few seconds, a loud Zuuuuuulllluuu went up. With the Police lined up at the front, it had a Rorkes Drift feel.

Andover,
QPR away! That reminds me of a few seasons ago with Mark Bircham playing against us at Loftus Road.......

He's got bird chit on his head
He's got bird chit on his head
He's got bird chit on his head
He's got bird chit on his head
He's got a LION on his arm
He's got a LION on his arm
He's got a LION on his arm
He's got a LION on his arm

Keeping that up for 80 minutes of the ninety was the funniest thing ever and I still have a recording of it on an old mobile !!!

grimbo72 - 11/11/2008 10:52

we are we are Millwall

sung to the theme we will rock you, remember this geing sung at Ipswich away early 90's

I remember one of the first times we sung that was Huddersfield away, FA Cup 3rd round when we done 'em 4-0... Got that game on video.

Rae & Geordie - Enough said!

The noise we made banging our feet on the floor up in the corner of that stand in unison with the clapping in between the singing was quite profound! I'm sure we had a few behind the goal as well...?

WE ARE, WE ARE MILLWALL - BANG/CLAP - BANG/CLAP - BANG/CLAP - BANG/CLAP!

Skez,

I was at that match too at their old ground..... There were Wall behind the goal on an uncovered terrace and if you remember it was absolutely pissing it down and this prompted another new song which was sung as a response from those Wall on the uncovered end and us in the stand,

It went something like...........
We sang ......... We're over here keeping dry.You over there getting wet.

And they replied............ We're over her getting wet , you over there staying dry!

Crazy but a giggle at the time...........

I thought we had a few behind the goal? My memory is terrible sometimes...

Yeah i remember the banter between us now. Funny as **ck!

Me, grimbo and his brother got collared outside before the game by some bird from a local radio station wanting to interview Millwall supporters.

That was a big ole ground as it happens. Especially their end opposite us along side the pitch. Went back quite far and up in the Gods if i remember right...?

Gonna go to their new ground in March.

Yeah, Plenty of history at Leeds Road Ground, huddersfield were a top class side in days gone by and with players like Frank Worthington it aint suprising..........
