I am surprised no one has mentioned the chant "Terry's gonna get yer, Terry's gonna getta yer" when any of the opposition got blown up for a foul when Hurlock was playing.

FAO Senegal and Skez. You can view the old Leeds Road Ground on here, it looks a **cking belter and the popular side terrace was MASSIVE.

Noose - Spot on mate!

Thank you very much.

Just looked at the pics of the Old Den and it filled my heart with pride all over again. I could sit and look at them all night and reminisce... I really do miss that place...

Cheers mate!

I've got an MP3 someone kindly sent me on here.

Though you haven't many toys
You don't envy any boys
Every day's a work day,
Your work is just a game
I'd like to sing your praise
but I don't know your name

You're just a shoe shine boy
You work hard all day
Shoe shine boy
Got no time to play
Every nickel helps a lot
So shine, shine, shoe shine boy.

You find joy in the things you do
Shoe shine boy seldom ever blue
You're content with what you've got
So shine, shine, shoe shine boy.

People look at you with scorn
'cos your clothes are worn and torn
Still you never whine
You keep looking up and down the street
Pleading with each one you meet
Brother can you spare a shine.

Oh, Shoe shine boy soon the day will come
Shoe shine boy soon a tune you'll hum
Every nickel helps a lot
So shine, shine, shoe shine boy.

(Orchestral Break)

Shoe shine, shoe shine boy

I remember a popular song was..........

South London, la, la, la.
South London, la, la, la.

To the tune of bananna splits.

Has this song been taken over by the Nigels and if so, when?
