Just been speaking to them, unfortunately all the races are already sponsored for that night, we can do it on an alternative evening but to be honest you don't get too much in the way of an incentive to do so. We can have a 3 course meal , including entry and race card for £27, I could get a reduction (I think) if I can confirm numbers and enough interested or we just bowl along on the night,

I'm definitely in.

3 course meal?? is that a burger, chips and a drink? with each component counting as a course?

Fvck the meal as I can't see too many wanting to sit down to be honest.

Probably best to just rock up on the night. As kinell says, you'll find that the idea sounds appealling to some but they'll then not turn up for whatever reason. Unless you collect the cash first that is.

Surely a Friday or Saturday would be better. I don't fancy it on a Monday night to be honest.

If it's been agreed by all that it's to be a Monday then so be it.

Sympathy wanks are painful. The salt from the tears makes your bellend smart, and I don't mean you can base a team around it for University Challenge either.
