Reforming for two big shows in Heaton Park next year (June 29th and 30th). World tour to follow. New tunes, etc, etc, etc...

Anyone arsed? I wouldn't mind seeing them, but I don't know how I feel about new tunes though. Bet they're shit!

The shit taste in music on here never ceases to amaze me.

Haven't you heard of George Fornby, Mario Lanza, and Vera Lynn - that was true funky funk

Heaton Park is going to be knee-deep in all manner of Class A's next summer. Could be interesting. It'll be like 'Shameless Live'!

Great band, but they should just leave it all in the past.

Oh piss in my face and down my back ...sign me up ,can't wait

Squire will throw a strop in rehersal and walk out leaving the other 3 Mani will fuck off back to gillespies mob and Brown will do the shows solo with remi in the shadows

as long as they stick to the first lp and maybe one love and some of browns solo gear or squires seahorse stuff thrown in as second coming was a shot LP FACT

I quite liked Second Coming, particularly Ten storey love song, although a lot of it was just Squire showing off.

Thought Browns solo stuff was better than the later Roses even though a lot of that was self indulgent too

trust me it werent just piss on ur face and down ur back they said it was raining piss from all directions, absolutely saturated in the stuff. my mate pissed up a northerners back for good measure though.

IMO they have got to stick to their early stuff, will be shambolic if they start pulling out new material. Going to see Ocean Colour Scene at brixton in Dec and all they are doing is the moesley shoals album. Thats all everyone wants to hear.

Standard night out on Deansgate then?

Hants_Lion is right. Probably should let it lie. BUT, it's a chance to see the original line-up, and if they can hold it together between now and next summer (...massive IF), then it should be good.

Love Spreads is about the only tune worth playing off the Second Coming record. The rest of it.......whatever.

I'll buy and look forward to any new album but Mr Brown can't sing a note live.

I've got drunk with manny a few times, top bloke.
